"One day, my eye fell on some busts by the artist Jon Rafman. Looking at them, I thought that I would like to have this technical knowledge of working with materials such as marble or wood to make poetic forms emerge in volume.
Then I tell myself that, somewhere, I too, as a perfumer, was sculpting matter, volatile materials that are odorous molecules.
And that these shapes, invisible to the eye but perceptible to the nose, sculpted the air, with the skin as a stele.
I then thought, it's not so bad, sculpting air, space. It's moving, alive, unique, thanks to the one who carries the sculpted aerial form, namely perfume."
