Ambers
The amber family has recently expanded! Indeed, it historically evoked perfumes inspired by ambergris, this sperm whale excrement with such sensual and animal notes! Rrrr! These perfumes do not necessarily contain natural ambergris, they can then use a base that reproduces its smell (vanilla, balms, animal notes). Today, perfumes that were called "oriental" are included (except that we are no longer allowed to say it, shh!). This category referred to perfumes evoking the Orient, that is to say containing the magic trio of vanilla, patchouli and finally spices (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, etc.). In both cases, the amber notes are always deliciously vanilla, without becoming gourmand.
