Paul Vacher knew his stuff about leather: in the early 1960s, Christian Dior commissioned him to create a feminine, conquering and haughty perfume. The perfumer composed what would become Diorling, a leathery chypre. Earlier in his career, he also co-created Lanvin's Scandal, a great dark leather.
In homage to these twentieth century monuments, Le Galion created Cuir, with its robust elegance, oscillating between emancipated femininity and demonstrative masculinity.
