Wooded

Woody fragrances refer to perfumes that use a lot of wood (oh surprise!). And be careful, there's wood and wood. We're talking here about the dry cedar that crunches underfoot, the milky sandalwood that caresses the skin, the damp, earthy patchouli that evokes the undergrowth after the rain, the deep mosses, or the smoky vetiver or mysterious guaiac wood.
