Its name echoes the Suma Oriental, the emblematic work of Tomé Pires, a 16th-century Portuguese apothecary, who for the first time described Southeast Asia and the trade of sandalwood from the islands of Sumba, Indonesia.

Centuries later, these accounts continue to inspire the olfactory imagination… like moonlight on a Bali beach, between tropical warmth and nocturnal mystery.

With this creation, we chose to sublimate patchouli, an iconic and deep material, in an accord that is at once woody, creamy, and subtly gourmand…
