Sortilège was created in 1936 by Paul Vacher as a tribute to the extravagant festivity of the Roaring Twenties. In 1950, the fragrance became the signature scent of the Stork Club, an upscale nightclub in New York. Marilyn Monroe and Ava Gardner became the prestigious ambassadors of this grand aldehydic floral, exuding the distinction and heightened femininity cherished by the House.
