Unlike cosmetics, perfumes don't really have a precise shelf life... but after a few years without proper care, they can deteriorate, especially if they are primarily composed of natural ingredients. The color of the perfume may also change without altering its scent: a change in color is not a sign that the perfume has expired. To prevent this, certain storage conditions are essential.
Perfume should be kept away from heat, temperature fluctuations, and humidity, as these factors can degrade its olfactory properties. We advise you to keep it in its original packaging if possible. And as you may have noticed, the bathroom is therefore a place to absolutely avoid for storing your perfume!
It is also important to close the bottle tightly and protect it from air to avoid the risk of oxidation.
Finally, try to avoid placing it on the edge of a shelf or dresser (especially if you have a cat!)
